There weren’t many cafés open at the time, so we decided to stop by this one.Regarding the kids’ pasta, I’m not sure why it’s made with thick fettuccine. Spaghetti or penne would be much easier for children to eat.The salad was delicious.The coffee, however, was disappointing, and I was charged for a large size even though I didn’t order one.Although the location and interior are very nice, I’m not a fan of the staff’s attitude and tone. I’ve visited several times, and unfortunately, I’ve felt uncomfortable every time.

The place is an absolute dream. The vibes are awesome, the food is awesome and our server was awesome too!!! We were roughly 18 guests and we were catered with professionalism, top tier!Must visit ❤️❤️

Wow! A very impressive restaurant that is well worth the money. Every dish we tried we loved from Tuna ceviche, mushroom pasta, beef cheeks to pork belly. Every dish was spectacular with fabulous presentation. Highly recommend

The food at this place is still just as good as I remembered, full of flavor and consistency that keeps it worth coming back for. Unfortunately, the service was a real letdown this time. The staff felt inattentive and slow, which took away from what could have been another great dining experience.

We visited Camrosa for the first time and were absolutely blown away. The setting is so beautiful, the staff were genuinely lovely to deal with, and the coffee was spot on. The food was 10/10 – fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Camrosa to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Too dark, make us fall to sleep. They remove most of the main from original menu for first table. However, the pizza taste good.

Visiting Hamilton and my children recommended lunch at Camarosa. I'm super glad we did. What a beautiful place to be.Right from the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. We had the exact amount of time needed to select our drinks and food. We weren't rushed and we weren't waiting ... exact!Drinks arrived and this is where the outstanding and thoughtful service super impressed me. The logo on my glass of prosecco was placed perfectly centered towards me, the pouring of the sprite into the glass was done in such a way that just made us feel special. Seriously!Fish Crudo to start. Wow is all I can say. Perfectly balanced flavours and every mouthful just left you wanting more.Then we shared the Mushroom Parpadelle, twice cooked Pork Belly and a delicious Camarosa Pizza. It was ALL good and delicious. It was also ALL gone in 16 minutes. For us, that's a sign that we just wanted to savour the flavours, no time for conversation, just pure enjoyment eating beautiful food.The atmosphere was beautiful. It's always great to hear the music just enough that allows us to speak quietly and hear each other. We love the decor - it's always interesting dining with a builder, he's always got something to say as he checks everything out, and he was impressed! I understand the water feature at the entrance wasn't at its usual flow so that was a bit of a shame to miss that. Also, I enjoyed the spacing between the tables - it felt private in an open space.Overall, 100% on all aspects of our dining experience. Thank you for having us and we look forward to coming back to enjoy your regular menu.

We’ve been coming here for a while as we enjoy the setting & atmosphere of this place. The eye fillet was flavoursome, but the pork belly didn’t have a lot of flavour. My partner and I are were not asked if we wanted another drink so we had just the one even though we wanted to try more off the menu. We also found the server to be rude. Bit disappointing really.

Have been coming here from day one just after covid . Have brought some large groups here over that time .Very disappointed with out last large group booking . Waitress was unaccommodating and borderline rude , all we asked for was an extra table and chairs , there were plenty of empty , unreserved tables .Food was extremely slow and way overpriced for the amount of people we came with ,even this we had preordered and confined days before , apparently discounted rate . $39 for a burger and fries and a slice of pizza bread was excessive and some were even charged $49 . Food itself wasn’t bad , just overpriced and took way too long .

We were a medium/large group, and were seated in a covered porch with plastic roll down walls, which proved to be a very cold spot, despite the heaters. Food was very good quality, but menu limited. Some mains had very small portions. Also some orders were very late in being supplied, possibly over looked initially? The birthday dessert that had been organized when the initial orders were taken was never delivered, which was very disappointing., and left a sour taste for the person whose birthday it was, and no real climax for the gathering.

Our 2nd visit to the restaurant and a good night out and with some minor let downs. All the food in the 3 courses we ordered was of a good standard. The negatives were it was a big cold in the restaurant, the service was a bit slow, and when my wife ordered a pineapple juice it was was actually stared at 300ml on the menu by she received over half a glass of ice, it’s not cheap here so we felt a bit ripped off especially as the measurement was advertised.

The fried chicken was amazing and the service great, I got a pisco sour which was good just not made to South American proportions 😊 but still great. Totally recommend this place for every thing

First time at Camarosa, order a flat white, breakfast hash add salmon, cafe is good, food look ok but hollandise sauce is terrible. I really think hollandise is a very basic sauce, please make it.

The food was decent, but the pizza was slightly burnt. The service, however, was disappointing—staff didn’t check if customers were satisfied with their meals. Given the overall experience, the prices seemed a bit high for what was offered.

We had a delightful experience having lunch, the service was superb and on point with everything. We had the coliflour bites and venison ribs to start and the 1Kg Lamb shoulder that was melting as soon as you bite it.

Used to love coming to Camarosa. I had seen the menu had changed and was gutted as all dishes we loved were taken off the menu. I emailed to let them know as surely a company would want feedback on this. No reply.We were already booked for our girls xmas dinner so decided to see if the new dishes were any good. 2 of us woke up in the early hours feeling sick (No more information needed). I emailed explaining the situation and was offered a partial refund. I am still waiting on the refund, its been two months. I emailed again and still no response.Very unfortunate as we used to love coming here but we will not be returning.

Highly disappointed in tonight's service. Food was average and very over priced. Dont generally write reviews but after spending 500 dollars on food and drink left with a bad taste in my mouth. I mean mash potatoes costing 16 dollars for a single serve, what an absolute joke will not be going back

Delicious meals that are a generous size, nice atmosphere. Always nice when places cater for kids and they had a good kids menu. Range of food options to suit all. Easy parking and good to have the kids playground available as part of the Berry farm as well.

Went here for brunch today. My friend is a vegetarian celiac, so it is normally a good place to go as there are plenty of options for her. Today was the exception, no cabinet food, no salads aside from a chicken one. So she ended up having a gluten free vegetarian bread/pizza type thing. I ordered the venison short ribs on the starter menu, they were amazing, I would definitely order again. We both wanted a dessert and they have one of the best brulee's in town, but alas they said they did not have any, this was the only gluten free dessert option aside from berries and ice cream. So we will not be back until the menu changes.

31Dec24 2111 Beautiful presentation of scrumptious delicious food here! In the morning today, New Year's Eve, after a property inspection in Otahuhu, Auckland, with my Salvation Army Corps Church pastors I drove down to Camarosa. It's so near Ruakura that I think of it as part of Ruakura.Big menu. Lots of starters to share with the rest of a table. Not cheap. But not expensive. My snapper, fish of the day, was perfect. $45 on New Year's Eve? Pretty darn good. My diabetes insulin pump biotech app startup mate Tim Gunn? His steak sandwich was big. Cooked just right! And tasty.Plenty of room inside and outside (in fine weather) for tables of guests & customers. Great venue for children. Safe !Easy to find, lots of parking, and about five Tesla super chargers.

Took too long to get the food although the restaurant wasn’t full. Dish was not hot and they were very slow in general. Forgot drink and probably won’t come back. Last time was way better really shame.

Booked a table for 14 and only given 12 seats. They were quick to take our drinks and food order and the waitresses were lovely but it took an hour and a half to receive our first plate of food and some at our table had finished their meals before the last one arrived 30 mins later. We had food coming to our table that wasn't ours and people who had ordered after us were getting their food before us. I ordered the $22 grisola pasta and received 4 small ravioli on my plate. Barely a mouthful but was on the sides to share section of the menu. In my opinion over priced and not worth the money but the waitresses were lovely.

Coffees were very luke warm, calzone was so spicy for us was (our tongues were numb), sorry to say for a busy resturant at lunch time the service was very slow. I was told this was due to understaffing. We felt that this was not value for money.

Service was so good and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We visited for a coffee on the 21.11.24 and ended up having cake and kids pasta. The service was fantastic the food was quick and tasty. Some of the best food I have eaten in NZ!

Overall very nice experience, the ambiance is great . We went for lunch. Food was nice but not many vegetarian options. Apart from that great service and the place had nice views with both indoor and outdoor sittings.

Celebrate my birthday with Camorsa tonight. Food are delicious. Atmosphere is good for date and gathering. It will be great if there is more gentle light source such as candles as a little bit too dark for me. Overall, it is a good dinning experience.

Lovely food and coffee. We stayed for a drink after also. A bustling restaurant with lovely decor. Felt the service was the only let down. It could have been better. The staff seemed preoccupied and disinterested in customers.We ordered the eggs brne with Salmon and the Big Breakfast.

Popped down from Auckland for a family gathering. The staff were most friendly and helpful. The food was a surprise, I didn't expect everything to be so tasty. I went for two small side dishes as I wasn't hungry enough for a larger plate. Decent serving sizes indeed, I would love to return and possibly try the pizza's.

I can only comment on the service we received as guests at a wedding, the quality of food, and the ambience. Top notch in all aspects. Will definitely consider this as a possible venue for a special occasion. And we’re central/east Aucklanders.
