** Nosh Restaurant Now Open **
Newly opened – we were excited to see and review this new addition to the Cambridge area.
“Where flavors meet creativity! Bringing a unique fusion of global cuisines to Cambridge, located on 103 Swayne Road. Follow us for updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and an unforgettable dining journey. Opening soon—stay tuned!”
From the moment you pull up outside Nosh Restaurant in Cambridge, you can see why it has cost the owners 2 million dollars to build and fit out. Everything is new, from the building, to the furniture, the liquor at the bar and even the uniforms.
Despite these efforts, we felt that the atmosphere was somewhat sterile – the exposed concrete walls, dark ceiling and minimalist lighting are indeed nice, but it doesn’t provide for a warm atmosphere. The windows, which are only really on one side of the building face east (with a few downstairs to the south), and given they only open at 10am weekdays and 11am in the weekend, there will be no sunlight inside. Booth seating both upstairs and down provides a nice, cosy setting for small groups.
In speaking to the manager, it certainly sounds like the restaurant and bar have been booked out from 5pm-8pm every night of the opening week, which is great, but we do wonder once the appeal of visiting the new place in town wears off how long this will last.
The food was nice, but no “wow” factor, and given some of the reviews so far, people find the prices very high.

Will Paul –
The restaurant is new, and staff are trying hard, but the space feels cramped. We were seated at a narrow table by the mezzanine, very close to larger groups—not ideal for a night out. The chicken skewers were dry and processed, the basa overly salty and wet. Lamb shanks were the highlight—tender, though a bit salty. Naan was thin and too crisp. Wine options were limited; 150ml of Montepulciano cost $23. The menu is quite limited, especially for vegetarians.
